Welcome to Cowles Clinic Pediatrics, home of Lake Oconee's 24-Hour Pediatrician.  We now have 1000 regular pediatric patients, and see many visitors to the Lake Oconee area as well.

Our offices are located at The Cowles Clinic in the newly built Willow Cottage.  This website will help keep you up to date with office news, events and policies.  Please call us or contact us if you have any questions, and thanks for visiting!

Our Philosophy

We are here to serve the Lake Oconee community and surrounding areas, including Morgan, Greene, Putnam and Baldwin Counties.  We offer a 24-hour call service, weekend office hours, and even house calls.  It may seem old fashioned, but that's the kind of people we are, and that's the kind of pediatric care you should expect.  Our goal is to be there when you need us, and to deliver the most complete, personalized pediatric health care available!

Summer Vacation
Just a few quick notes!

We hope everyone's having a great summer vacation!

Please remember sun safety, especially at this time of year.  Use at least SPF 30 for kids (6 months and older only), and check the label to make sure you're getting UVA protection as well.

Keep a few things in mind.  First, use of sunscreen is no guarantee against sunburn.  Yes, you can stay out longer, but stay out too long and you'll still get sunburned.  And second, you can still get sunburned in the shade, so wear sunscreen even if you're not in direct sunlight.  Have fun!
