Welcome to Cowles Clinic Pediatrics, home of Lake Oconee's 24-Hour Pediatrician.  We now have over 1000 regular pediatric patients, and see many visitors to the Lake Oconee area as well.

Our offices are located at The Cowles Clinic in the newly built Willow Cottage.  This website will help keep you up to date with office news, events and policies.  Most of the information you might need is located here, and we do update this site frequently!

Our Philosophy

We are here to serve the Lake Oconee community and surrounding areas, including Morgan, Greene, Putnam and Baldwin Counties.  We offer a 24-hour call service and weekend office hours, and have even made house calls.

It may seem old fashioned, but that's the kind of people we are, and that's the kind of pediatric care you should expect.

Our goal is to be there when you need us, and to deliver the most complete, personalized pediatric health care available!

"Swine Flu" &
the Flu Vaccines

The Latest from Dr. B : 12/13/09

1) 2009 H1N1 "Swine Flu" VACCINE IS IN STOCK.  The H1N1 vaccine is recommended for everyone from 6 months to 24 years of age.  We are now able to immunize older persons as well, as we have a healthy supply of injectable H1N1 vaccine.  Please call to make an appointment for your vaccine!

2) SWINE FLU INFORMATION:  If you need general information on 2009 H1N1 "Swine Flu", first check www.CDC.gov for the latest information!  We also have some general information on the Health Topics page.  If however your child is displaying signs of influenza infection, call Jennifer to make an appointment.

3) We are OUT of 2009 Seasonal Flu vaccine and will not be able to get more.
